How to track restaurant tips

Clock in, log each tip with an optional note and optional Cash, Card, or Split, record Total Tip-Out in dollars, and clock out.

Hourly rate with tips and wages

Wages from the wage stored on the shift, net tips after Total Tip-Out, then $/hour as total earnings divided by hours.

Enter hours, wage, tips, and tip-out to see wages, net tips, total earnings, and $/hour for one shift.

Calendar and shift list

Shifts tab: Calendar (month or week) or List, with a workplace filter. Tap a day, add or edit shifts, schedule upcoming work that can repeat every week, and clock in from Home.

Earnings goals

Weekly or monthly targets. Progress is total earnings (net tips plus wages) or net tips only, on shifts in that date range.

AI insights

Reports → Analyze with AI. Not automatic. This Week is never analyzed. Guidance only, not a guarantee.

Server tip tracker

Clock in as Server, log tips between tables, and record the dollar Total Tip-Out the shift list asks about after clock-out.

Hostess tip tracker

Clock in as Hostess. Wages usually carry the shift. Tips you kept are logged as tips. There is no tip-out prompt.

Expo tip tracker

Clock in as Expo. Money other roles tip out to you is a tip you log. Money you give away is Total Tip-Out.
