About TrackMyTips

What it does

You clock in and out, log tips, record an optional Total Tip-Out, and read earnings on a calendar, in reports, and against weekly or monthly goals. Roles & Hourly Wages and Payday are your defaults. A workplace can set its own wages and payday. Optional AI insights run only when you tap Analyze with AI on Reports.

The app has five tabs on iOS and Android: Home, Shifts, Goals, Reports, and Settings. Built-in roles are Hostess, Expo, Server, and Bartender. Settings can add up to four custom roles, and a custom name cannot match one of those four. The wage saved on a shift comes from your default for that role, or from the workplace when that job has its own. Changing those settings later does not rewrite past shifts. Editing the shift can change the wage stored on it.

Platforms and accounts

iOS is on the App Store. Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or Continue as Guest.

Android is on Google Play. Sign in with Google, or continue as a guest.

Guest (anonymous) data is temporary. On iOS and Android, Log Out deletes the guest account and its progress; uninstalling or signing out before you link an account can lose that data too. Apple-linked and Google-linked accounts keep data across logouts. Delete a linked account in Settings → Delete Account, or via the delete account page.

What it is not

TrackMyTips is not a POS, payroll, or bank connection. It does not import schedules. A tip can optionally be marked Cash, Card, or Split, and leaving that unset is fine. Earnings Forecast is an estimate from shifts you have already worked, not a paycheck. It is not tax software and does not provide tax or financial advice — Income History PDFs say so explicitly. AI insights are guidance only, not a guarantee.
