TrackMyTips (TMT) is a free iOS app — with an Android beta — for tipped service workers. You clock in as Hostess, Expo, Server, or Bartender, log tips and an optional Total Tip-Out, set hourly wages per role, and see earnings on Home, Shifts, Goals, and Reports. AI insights run only if you tap Analyze with AI.
Yes. The app is free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, or paywalls. Every feature is available to every user.
Hostesses, expo staff, servers, and bartenders who want a private record of shifts, tips, wages, and take-home pay. Those four roles are the ones in the app.
An Android beta is open. iOS is available on the App Store as TMT - Track My Tips. Data lives in your account; use the sign-in available on that platform (Apple on iOS, Google on Android).
No. On iOS you can Continue as Guest or Sign in with Apple (there is no Google sign-in on iOS). On Android (beta) you can continue as a guest or Sign in with Google. Guest data is deleted if you log out, and can be lost if you uninstall before linking an account.
A tip-out is money you give coworkers from your tips. TrackMyTips records one optional Total Tip-Out in dollars per shift — not a percentage and not a per-person split. Net tips = total tips minus that amount (or minus $0 if you never recorded one). Earnings use net tips plus wages.
Wages earned = (duration in minutes ÷ 60) × the hourly wage stored on that shift at clock-in. Net tips = total tips − tip-out (or $0 if none was recorded). Total earnings = net tips + wages. Reports roll that up for This Week, Last Week, Last Month, or All Time — not a Today range. Per hour is $0.00 unless the shifts in that range add up to at least 30 minutes.
Shift and tip amounts are stored in your account and are not sold for advertising. Analytics uses coarse buckets rather than exact tip amounts. Optional AI analysis sends shift data to OpenAI only when you tap Analyze with AI. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The app is a personal record of shifts and tips, including an Income History summary you can export as a PDF. It is not tax software and not tax advice. The PDF states that TrackMyTips does not provide tax or financial advice.
Signed-in users: Settings → Delete Account (there is no separate Account section). Guest users: Log Out deletes the guest account and its data. If you cannot open the app, submit a request on the Delete Account page. Deletion is permanent.
